One of the top accounting firms is seeking a top-notch, detail-oriented Audit Manager to play an important role on their Audit team. This position will be working out of the Charleston, WV location, staying busy year-round with clients located throughout the United States. In this position you will work directly with Senior Leadership as a business partner to provide insightful analysis and recommendations to achieve the ultimate results for the clients.

Your Role with the Company:
- Analyze all client documents, financial statements, and other documents, finalizing all client documents, prepare more complex audits.
- Preparation of audit responses for both internal and external audits.
- Evaluate the client’s system of internal control and conduct the engagement plan, preparation and execution.
- Communicate with Engagement Partner on work status and client issues that arise.
- Travel up to 35% and out of town travel.
- Relocation is available
- BS in Accounting; Master’s in accounting preferred
- CPA Certification
- 5+ years’ experience in external audit
- 4+ years’ experience in public accounting, preferred Top 100 experience
- 3+ years’ experience with solid knowledge in manufacturing, energy, private equity, healthcare and Non-Profit

She has spent over 20+ years recruiting for large and small financial and medical organizations. She has extensive experience in sales, business development, contract negotiation, consulting and recruiting. Through her past experience, she developed a wonderful eye for talent, and prides herself on becoming an extension of your human resource team.
Shelley has a teenage daughter who she supports with her cheerleading for school and all star cheer competitions. She has always been involved with her community and actively supports the Human Societies across the US along with rescuing animals.
Shelley still enjoys being a "cheer Mom" after moving to Myrtle Beach, SC and to live near her retired parents. She is an active member of the high school Booster Club and supports fund raising events with the community. She stresses the values of family and friends to build character for our youth. She still loves lively conversations in the football arena and cherishes her time spent with her Australian Shepherd/Collie mix.
